1. a card game played by one person, usually an attempt to put cards in a given order.
2. a diamond or other gem set by itself.
3. either one of two species of birds related to and resembling the dodo that lived on two islands in the Indian Ocean and became extinct in the 1700's.
4. a solitary; recluse.
